LA CIGARRACarrer dels Mercaders, 20, Ciutat Vella
Great little hideaway in an otherwise busy part of town. Good for a cafe and a vermut.
On y va Coffee - GraciaC/ de Verdi, 4
Truth be told, I’ve only had an iced latte here and those are hard to screw up, but this place has all the makings of a good spot on a great street.
Nook Coffee13 bis, Carrer de Marià Cubí, Distrito de Sarrià-Sant Gervasi
Newer spot. Great little vibe. Simple breakfast options too.

Three Marks CoffeeC/ d'Ausiàs Marc, 151
Three Marks is served in a lot of our favorite places around town. So with visiting their spot for sure!
La Masala CafeCarrer d'En Mònec, 6
Probably the first good coffee spot we found when we moved here in the summer of 2020. Lots of awesome spots have opened since, but keeping this one for nostalgia, and still a really good coffee.
lukumásCarrer del Torrent de l'Olla, 169
Donut. Get a glazed donut too.
Brew Coffee UrquinaonaC/ d'Ausiàs Marc, 4
Some call it the best coffee in town. It is pretty good and a great spot for either take-away or to work for a bit on your laptop.
ONIS COFFEEC/ de Roger de Llúria, 87
Three Marks coffee and a La Marzocco. Roman theme spot from a really nice Londoner with a great chill vibe. One of our favorite spots.
Ripa Coffee - EixampleC/ del Consell de Cent, 291
Great take-away coffee spot to grab a flat white and sit at one of the many benches out front to read a book or people watch.
Onia CafèC/ de Casp, 41
Sometimes a bit over roasted for me, but a good spot for a quick snack and coffee.
LA PAPAC. de Pau Claris, 190
A second location, always a good vibe.
PhilosopheatC. de Pau Claris, 188
Expanded with a great place to set up your laptop and work for a bit.
T.44Carrer del Taulat, 44
I usually judge a place by it’s Flat Whites. But I had just run a race so my test here was an Iced Latte which admittedly is a lot easier. But it was God damn delicious.
Garage CoffeeCarrer de Joan Gamper, 13
We don’t get to this part of town as much, but when we do this is a favorite! Great breakfasts and nice staff too.
BLACKBIRD Coffee CornerC/ de València, 418
Heading to La Sagrada Familia? This is a nice spot to grab an outdoor table and enjoy the day on the way. 🐦⬛
Sotaque CafèC/ de Martínez de la Rosa, 66
We dig this new little place. Several great coffee spots in the area actually. We suspect we will be back to this one a lot.
The CoffeeC/ del Comte Borrell, 70

Salvatge coffee GràciaCarrer del Penedès, 3
In Gracia? Salvatage is right in the heart and a nice place to grab a coffee to go or to hang on their bench for a few minutes.
XILOTECA COFFEE + BOTIGACarrer de la Neu de Sant Cugat, 6
Love this place and their hand painted Green La Marzocco. Look for the streamers and for sure grab a Flat White here on your way to El Born. 💚
Ruma's CoffeeCarrer dels Escudellers, 11
There is a gap in coffee places in this part of town. Thank God Rumas moved here to fill the void and fill your caffeine needs.
Billy CaféC/ de Bailèn, 113
Billy has branded like a mofo! We love seeing the chick stickers and tuk tuk around town. The tourists got word and it can be BUSY. But just around the corner from the restaurant is Billy Cafe for a quick, tasty to-go coffee. Or there is one table if you're lucky. 🐥👍
Departure Coffee Co.Carrer de la Verge, 1
No laptops. I keep forgetting that. But really good coffee.
LOT ROASTERSC/ de Bailèn, 43
Slow. But good. Chill for a minute and grab a great coffee on your way to... wherever.
Nomad Coffee - Lab & ShopPassatge Sert, 12
This place can be busy, but the variety and coffee are amazing. There is a reason so many good coffee shops serve Nomad coffee. Also one of only a couple places with Nitro in the summertime. Pass down this tunnel as You drop into Sant Pere, Santa Caterina & la Ribera.
LADY BABKAC/ d'Enric Granados, 124
The coffee is so good here. And the pastries too! Beautiful setting to start your day.
paradero | specialty coffee & brunchC/ del Comte Borrell, 107
Heading to Saint Antony? Stop here for a great coffee along the way. Serving Three Marks, the do some nice coffee foam art too.
Bonsai Coffee & MatchaC/ de Casanova, 146
Across from the El Ninot market (our go-to market), Bonsai is a nice place to hang for a bit before or after (or during) your visit to the the stalls.
La Central del RavalCarrer d'Elisabets, 6
Another La Central—this one just on the edge of Raval. Great, curated English language book section and a huge spot to explore. They have a cafe connected which can be a good spot to be lazy for a bit too.
ÖSS Kaffe BarcelonaC/ de Joaquín Costa, 26
In the heart of Raval, ÖSS is a little oasis to sit and chill for a while. Used to be Nomad, but still serve Nomad here. And you can ask them to grind you some to take with you.
Dalston Coffee BarcelonaCarrer de les Ramelleres, 16
Squeeze in & grab a really good coffee on your way to exploration, or as a pick-me-up on your way back. More of a “para llevar” or “to go” spot.
Lodetto CaféC. de Valldonzella, 36
Used to be Lukimas. They don’t have the amazing donuts anymore, but they still have great coffee. We hit this spot regularly when we’re heading to El Raval.
Roast Club CafeC/ de València, 190
Probably our favorite spot because of the food, coffee, and most definitely the staff. Great people and a great place to sit or grab to-go from the walk up outdoor counter.
LA PAPAC/ d'Aribau, 92
Good coffee in a cool space. And if you’re there for a while they make a nice Gin Tonic too.
Funky Bakers DeliC/ de la Diputació, 347
They have a restaurant next door, but we often just sneak a coffee from the deli. Also a good spot to get a can of Caravelle sodas.
